Model 108-L Ozone Monitor

The Model 108-L Ozone Monitor is a versatile EPA-certified Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) for monitoring ambient ozone. The instrument is designed for easy integration into existing ozone or air monitoring systems. With an incredibly small footprint, the Model 108-L is a unique instrument with its ability to provide highly reliable ozone data at a size that makes it easy to incorporate into an existing product.

  • Measurement range of 0-100 ppm with an accuracy/precision of 1.5 ppb
  • EPA-certified as a FEM for regulatory compliance monitoring in accordance with the Clean Air Act (EQOA-0914-218)
  • Available in three user-friendly configurations to meet a variety of ozone monitoring needs

Overview

  • Provides accurate measurements of ozone from a few parts-per-billion by volume (ppb) to an upper limit of 100 parts-per-million (ppm) based on UV absorption
  • Standard OEM configuration makes use of the user’s ozone system pump to supply the air sample
  • Lightweight (2.0 lb, 0.89 kg) and has a low power consumption (~2 watt) relative to conventional instruments
  • Requires minimal maintenance, making it well suited for monitoring of ambient ozone and monitoring/control of ozone in industrial settings
  • Available in configurations including Enclosure with Pump and our AQLite Air Monitoring Package
  • Please contact us to discuss the best configuration for your application

Case Studies

In Atlanta, Georgia, the AQEarth team includes Community Health Aligning Revitalization Resilience & Sustainability (CHARRS) and West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA) in a project consisting of both air monitoring and community education. The collective aim is to bring community members together around air quality issues in West Atlanta neighborhoods. 2B Tech’s AQSync was installed to make high-quality measurements of pollutants that are accessible to residents online. Residents of all ages are exploring local air quality in neighborhoods using handheld personal air monitors (PAMs).

The Model 108-L has been integrated into the STERISAFE PRO system, which uses fumigations with high amounts of gas-phase ozone to disinfect surfaces and destroy viruses and bacteria. The integrated relay and the wide measurement range of the Model 108-L (0-100 ppm) make it possible for one instrument to serve two purposes critical to the disinfection process: monitoring the high ozone concentrations needed to ensure disinfection, and also monitoring low ozone concentrations to determine when safe levels are re-established at the end of fumigation.
