- UV Absorbance-based ozone monitor with our patented heated graphite scrubber technology (U.S. Patent No. 10,295,517) to measure ozone virtually free of interferences
- Ideally suited for measurements of ozone in heavily polluted air where interferences are likely from particulates, mercury, and/or VOCs
- Enhanced optical path length of 30 cm provides a precision of better than 0.5 ppb for 10-second measurements
- Output new ozone measurements as often as every 2 seconds
- Designated by the EPA as a Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) as a modification to our Model 211 Scrubberless Ozone Monitor:Ā EQOA-0514-215
- Our paper published in Atmospheric Measurement Techniques describes the heated graphite scrubber
- Has the potential to bring many regions into compliance with the new national ambient air quality standard simply by making a more accurate measurement
Model 211-G Ozone Monitor
Dual beam ozone monitor. EPA-certified Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) with a 30-cm path length and a heated graphite scrubber in place of the traditional catalytic carbon scrubber. Ideal for monitoring applications in non-attainment regions and in heavily polluted air where interferences are likely from particulates, mercury, and/or volatile organic compounds.
- Heated graphite scrubber virtually eliminates interferences in the ozone measurements produced by this instrument
- Measurement range of 0-500 ppb with 0.5 ppb precision
- FEM designated for regulatory compliance monitoring in accordance with the Clean Air Act (modification to EQOA-0514-215)
