Overview

The Model 106-L Ozone Monitor is designed for measurements of ozone concentrations ranging from low ppb levels up to 100 ppm (100,000 ppb). This highly accurate ozone monitor (1.5 ppb) has a low limit of detection (3.0 ppb for 10 second measurements) and is certified by the EPA as a FEM for monitoring for compliance with the US Clean Air Act:Ā  EQOA-0914-218.Ā

About the 106 Series:

  • Designed for industrial ozone applications to cover four different ozone concentration ranges by varying the optical path length.Ā
  • Highly robust and easy to service; all components are mounted directly to the printed circuit board with few wire connection
  • Available in the three following configurations: Standard Enclosure, Industrial Enclosure, or with no enclosure (OEM version)

Case Studies

In this study, a new method of cleaning the cabins of passenger airplanes was studied. High ozone was pumped into the aircraft’s air conditioning system. The 0-100 ppm range of the Model 106-L enabled researchers to monitor the fumigation levels of the ozone as well as the fallback to safe levels. Hospital-grade sterilization was achieved in about 90 minutes of treatment, with the added benefit of the ability of ozone to penetrate the hard-to-reach places on the plane, such as tray tables in the locked & upright position.

This study used 2B Tech instruments to evaluate the performance of CO2 sensors. The multiple measurements offered by our Personal Air Monitor, AQLite, and AQSync open the door for verifying the performance of lower-cost sensor technology.

"I have always had good experiences dealing with 2B Technologies and the performance of your products. That is why we have incorporated two of your ozone monitors into our standard instrument configuration."
